While convenient to “just go”, play time does not necessarily have to be interrupted when nature calls.

My papa asked me to sit for a Fathers Day portrait. He gifted a print of this picture to my Grandpa on Fathers Day. It was easy, I just sat down a flashed my pearly whites.

We returned to Larsmont Cottages on the North Shore (of Lake Superior) for a short weekend get away. I don’t remember the joint too well as I was only a few weeks old on my first visit. One amenity I was able to enjoy this visit – now that I’m a big boy you know – was the extra large jacuzzi tub. It was big enough for my papa and I to share. Ahh, the good life.

I had a fantastic time at my 2nd birthday party this weekend. Thank you so much to all of those who attended and to those who sent wishes. I’m just learning to count now which will come in handy as I have so many blessings to keep track of.

I had very joyous and memorable holiday. Where I lost my cool was when I learned I had opened all my gifts and that Christmas 2010 was coming to a close. As I’m only 20 months, waiting 12 months for another Christmas seems like a lifetime.

We had fun as a family this weekend getting into the holiday spirit. This video clip was captured using my papa’s iPhone 4 and the Canopy Jumba sleeve and application he has developed (I promised my dad a plug).  Happy Holidays to all!

One of my favorite books is Where The Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak. For Halloween, my talented mother created this costume which so convincingly turned me into one of the creatures in the book. I had a great time showing the costume off to the neighborhood.

I overheard my parents talking about how much they look up to their own parents that I thought I would express the same sentiment to my folks. Good thing my dad had the camera ready when I did.

I enjoyed time at the Minnesota State Fair this weekend. Fun was had farming at the Cargill exhibit where I learned how to plant, grow, harvest and sell crops like corn. A lot of cool farm equipment was there too! You should check it out.

My dad has been known to go “arty farty” from time to time. This shot isn’t too bad…..at least it is in focus.
